Tech tour for students to attract further studies

At the STSC Research Center's Tech Tour, students from Mid Sweden University's engineering programs had the opportunity to meet the center's researchers and learn about several ongoing research projects.

Ensure 6G kick-off meeting at Oulo University

In the end of February, researchers within the Interreg Aurora project ENSURE 6G, were gathered for a project kick-off meeting in Oulo, Finland. ENSURE-6G is ramping up its remote sensing, connectivity, and data fusion efforts in rural areas.

Developing the smart mattress of the future for healthcare

In the Pressure project, the goal is to develop a low-cost and robust IoT-based solution with the aim of reducing the suffering and costs that arise from pressure ulcers. The researchers at Mid Sweden University have now developed a first prototype that has been discussed with the project's partners.

Saad - New PhD in Electronics

On Thursday, January 25, Saad Muhammad Shaikh successfully presented his thesis "Hyperspectral imaging for in-situ applications: Methods to improve the classification of materials using hyperspectral imaging". After the grading committee's deliberation, he can now title himself a Doctor in Electronics.

Meet Oscar - New PhD student in electronics

New prototype to prevent pressure ulcers was presented
