The research group Leadership in Education Administration and Development (LEAD)
The research group Leadership in Education Administration and Development (LEAD) conducts research on leadership, governance and development in educational organizations and other contexts where education and learning are in focus.
Within LEAD, issues related to educational leadership are studied across different contexts, with a particular focus on the work of school leaders and principals in early childhood education and schools. Key research areas include governance and the role of education providers; professional learning and leadership development; school organisation and school development; and digitalisation and governance.
The research group conducts empirically grounded and practice-oriented research in collaboration with educational organisations, professional practitioners, and researchers at both national and international levels.
