Omsorgstrappan – support for caregivers of children who have experienced violence
Would you like to undertake your dissertation on support for children and caregivers following exposure to violence? We are looking for students for two qualitative studies of Omsorgstrappan.
Omsorgstrappan is a support intervention for caregivers of children who have experienced violence. The project consists of two qualitative studies.
Study 1 – professionals’ perspectives: Interviews with professionals who offer and deliver Omsorgstrappan. The study will focus on experiences of the intervention, implementation, adaptation to different needs, perceived significance, as well as barriers and opportunities for development.
Study 2 – caregivers’ perspectives: Interviews with caregivers who have completed Omsorgstrappan. The study will focus on their experiences of the intervention, what they have gained from it, how they use what they have learned in everyday life, their relationship with the child, and the significance and development needs of the intervention.
Both studies will use semi-structured interviews and provide an opportunity to contribute to knowledge about a support intervention currently used in Jämtland County, Sweden.
We are looking for four students in total – two students for Study 1 and two students for Study 2.
