Turism beskrivs ofta som världens "fredsindustri", då turismsektorn har potential att föra samman människor på olika sätt. Samtidigt visar empiriska studier att turismen som fredssskapare är en komplex företeelse. För att undersöka denna fråga fokuserar detta projekt på turismens roll inom ramen för den konfliktfyllda Israel-Palestina-kontexten. Projektet undersöker fenomenet "turism" inom de palestinska territorierna Betlehem och Ramallah.
